Here at Abbot Trailside Lodging, we have direct trail access to aprox. 1,000 miles of designated Maine ATV trails. We’re located directly on ITS 85 Snowmobile Trail / MATS 113 ATV Trail. No other motel around has access to this many trails! The ATV trails start directly from your room.
Direct Trail Access
Here at Abbot Trailside Lodging, we have direct trail access to aprox. 1,000 miles of designated Maine ATV trails. From here, you can ride to Greenville & Moosehead Lake, Jackman, The Forks, Rockwood, Bingham, and Cambridge. No other motel around has access to this many trails! The atv trails start directly from your room. Trail Maps are available.
Moosehead Lake region
The Moosehead Lake region has some of the best snowmobile trails and most beautiful views in all of New England. Our trail system is immense, with over 12,000 miles of groomed snowmobile trails in Maine alone! The Moosehead Lake region is located in the heart of the snow belt of the Maine Mountains and receives over 100 inches of snow per year. ITS 85 trail runs right through our property, so its easy to hop right on the trail and get anywhere you want to go.
